Ordering documents remotely — how it works
Can I order documents from Armenia without traveling to the country? Yes, you can. We obtain documents from the Civil Registry Offices and archives of Armenia, affix an apostille, perform consular legalization and nostrification, make translations and deliver the result by courier — you don’t need to go anywhere. Below is the entire process step by step and the payment procedure, with no hidden terms.
How the process works
- You contact us with a request: what document is needed, date and city of receipt (issuance), date and city of the event. For example: a duplicate was issued in Yerevan, but the birth itself was in another city — this is important.
- You specify what exactly is needed: obtain the document, apostille it, consular legalization, nostrification (recognition) of a diploma or certificate.
- You indicate for which country the document is needed and for what purpose — this is often a decisive factor that determines the processing route.
- We clarify whether a translation is needed and an apostille on it (either legalization of the translation or translation through the consulate).
- To calculate delivery, you provide the exact address where to deliver. The courier delivery cost is calculated automatically.
- You agree to the order amount. Payment is made after our representative receives your power of attorney.
- Our representative contacts you and clarifies the details — or you contact them yourself, whichever is more convenient.
- You send us your documents.
- After receiving your documents in hand (most often a power of attorney and a copy of your passport), we confirm receipt from the courier.
- You pay 70% of the order.
- We fulfill the order and send you a scan of the finished document. You pay the remaining balance — 30%, the cost of translating your power of attorney (if it was translated), and the return courier delivery.
- We send you the documents via courier service.
How payment works
- Don’t pay anything upfront “into the void”. Payment begins only after your power of attorney is physically received by our representative.
- 70% — after confirming receipt of your documents (power of attorney, copy of passport).
- 30% + translation of the power of attorney (if required) + return delivery — after you have received the scan of the finished document.
- In Armenia (as in Moldova), a scan of a document with a QR code is itself a finished electronic document. Therefore, before full payment, we send a scan without the QR code. Please understand.
What we need from you
- Power of attorney on behalf of our representative (executed at a notary at your place of residence; if necessary, we send the ready text). For Armenia — see notarial power of attorney.
- Copy of passport (page with personal data).
- Copies of available documents and exact details: full name as in the document (and in Armenian spelling if known), dates and cities of event and issuance.
- Delivery address and country for which the document is being prepared.
Frequently asked questions about ordering
Do I need to come to Armenia?
No. The entire process is carried out by power of attorney: the representative submits requests and receives documents on your behalf, and the result is delivered by courier to your address in any country.
Why is the payment split into 70% and 30%?
This way the risk is shared between the parties: we start work and incur expenses (fees, trips to archives and civil registry offices, translations) only after a confirmed order, and you pay the remaining balance after seeing a scan of the finished document.
How long will it take?
It depends on the document and the authority: from a few days (apostille on an existing document) to several weeks (retrieval from the civil registry archive or diploma restoration). We provide exact timelines after clarifying the order details.
What if the document is not found in the archive?
If the archive or civil registry issues an official refusal (the record has not been preserved), we forward this response to you — it also has legal force and is often needed for court, consulate, or restoring the document through judicial proceedings.
